Mobile units haven't any sense, if they are not supported by a reliable, user friendly and extremely flexible software solution which is installed in the dispatch centre. TrackNav has been continuously developed during last ten years and therefore meets all requirements of modern fleet management.

It is a Widows running program which can be used by many users (dispatchers) at the same time. Remote access makes possible that also dislocated dispatch offices may participate.

Because of high flexibility and modularity of the program the fleet size doesn't matter. Small fleets consist of a few mobile units and also big fleets having a few hundred participants, may be effective and simple managed. Some custom extensions of the Tracknav program made until today have also met some specific requirements out of transportation branch.

The two main pages, the table of active vehicles and the graphic page, which is supported by a vector map of Europe including also city maps of several towns, serves the most important vehicle data and statuses.

A very flexible statistics of every vehicle offers a lot of optimization ideas. The system uses "MySQL" data base, this makes a relative simple data access for further IT processing.

TrackNav web application makes possible that authorized customers may follow their goods during transportation period.

• RAM memory: minimum 512 Mb;
• HDD: minimum 100 MB free space (1,2 GB recommended when using MapPoint);
• OS: Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP;
• Connectivity: Ethernet adaptor - LAN or WAN connection to TrackNav server.
